Prvić was inhabited in the early Middle age.Today are inhabited Luka and Luka Sepurine.The village Prvić settled monks glagoljaši in 1461st It was the strongest base of the Slavic liturgy at the Sibenik area. Prvic countries were mostly owned by the Sibenik noble families, among them family and Vrančić Draganić. Famous scientist, writer, philosopher, mathematician and physicist Faust Vrancic was buried in the parish church in Prvić Luka.
